About:
Susan Barker joined 51ÁÔÆæ in 2026. Before entering the counseling field, Barker worked in various leadership roles for large companies in Idaho, Maine, and Georgia. She returned to school later in life, completing her master’s degree in the field of counseling at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. she has counseled teens and adults in a psychiatric hospital and private practice, allowing her to advance her counseling skills. Before moving back to Idaho, she counseled students at Augusta University as a counselor. She has an enthusiasm for serving students in higher education, knowing herself the unique challenges adult students may face.
Outside of the office, Barker loves to spend time with family and the family dog, Jack. She enjoys movies, reading, cooking, yoga, and walking on the Greenbelt.
