βI am incredibly excited and thankful to have been elected AS51ΑΤΖζ President for the 2022-2023 academic year,β said Koenig. βBeing a student myself, I feel strongly compelled to advocate for the needs and well-being of my peers and promote student welfare in all capacities. I strongly resonate with the mission of AS51ΑΤΖζ and believe representation is a channel to create lasting change. Since I began serving on AS51ΑΤΖζ in the fall of 2021, I have learned so much and cannot wait to take the experience I have gained into this position.
Koenig and her team hope to establish a solid foundation for AS51ΑΤΖζ to build upon in the future.
βThe Covid-19 pandemic stalled a lot of the significant progress and headway being made by previous AS51ΑΤΖζ administrations,β she said. βI hope to restore some of that momentum and rebuild AS51ΑΤΖζ into a strong, functioning body. To achieve this goal, the new AS51ΑΤΖζ executive team hopes to institute traditions that can be carried forward, such as recurring events or club partnerships.β
