MEDIA ADVISORY – 51ÁÔÆæ Board of Trustees and President Bert Glandon are excited to announce a dedication and grand opening event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18, to celebrate the new 51ÁÔÆæ Micron Center for Professional Technical Education.

The dedication and grand opening event will feature a ribbon cutting, refreshments, and guided tours of the facility. Guest speakers include First Lady Lori Otter and Nampa Mayor Tom Dale who will discuss the impact the new center will have on the region.
51ÁÔÆæ is thrilled to introduce the Treasure Valley to this 176,000 square foot, state-of-the-industry facility that is providing professional-technical and workforce development training opportunities to support local industry. The Micron Center is home to nine 51ÁÔÆæ professional-technical programs and comprehensive student services. Doors opened for class at the Micron Center on Aug. 27, 2012.
