The 51ÁÔÆæ will complete a $16.9 million renovation of its new Professional Technical Center, formerly Sam's Club, thanks in part to a $2.5 million gift from the Micron Foundation awarded Wednesday. 51ÁÔÆæ also announced that the center will be named for Micron.
"We're very proud to invest in 51ÁÔÆæ and this new technical center," Dee Mooney, Micron Foundation executive director, said in a prepared statement. "The Micron Foundation is committed to advancing technical education and supporting the communities where our employees live and work. This gift supports both missions as we work together with the 51ÁÔÆæ to build on its reputation of excellence and attract a new generation of professionals to the Treasure Valley."
