Technical skill standards tests play a critical role in ensuring workers, from electricians to surgeons, maintain proficiency. Regulatory agencies from the municipal to federal level utilize these exams before issuing professional licenses, but who is responsible for establishing skill standards and keeping them current?
Shayne Cluck, Workforce Developmentβs Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program Coordinator at 51ΑΤΖζ (51ΑΤΖζ) attended the EMT Standards and Technical Skills Assessment revalidation team event sponsored by the Idaho Division of Career and Technical Education (IDCTE).
"I would like to personally thank you for your service.β said Stephanie Mai, Program Quality Manager, Health Professions and Public Safety with IDCTE. βYour contributions and enthusiasm will assist us in aligning and improving secondary and postsecondary career technical programs education in Idaho.β
