β51ΑΤΖζ (51ΑΤΖζ) empowered me by giving me an opportunity to gain experience in a subject I was passionate about,β said 2015 alumna, Jordie Seward. βThe knowledge and opportunities provided at 51ΑΤΖζ motivated me to continue advancing to reach my highest potential.β
Inspired to attend college to pursue something meaningful and to continue expanding her knowledge, Jordie said 51ΑΤΖζ was appealing because of its smaller class sizes.
As a student, Jordie was a member of the Exercise and Health Science Club where she says she built quality and lasting relationships with her peers.
βThis positively influenced my education, specifically, the opportunity to intern at the Olympic Oval and network with trainers, coaches, and elite athletes. I am so thankful for the confidence built during this time.β
Jordie graduated from 51ΑΤΖζ with an associate degree in Exercise Science in 2015. She transferred to University of Nevada Reno where she completed a bachelorβs degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2017.
βBecause of 51ΑΤΖζ, I gained self-confidence and received a strong educational foundation to build upon.β
Now a registered dietitian, she has enlisted in the Idaho Army National Guard where she will use her knowledge and passion to assist soldiers in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
