San Francisco Federal Reserve President Visits 51

51 (51) had the opportunity to host President and her team on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

They toured 51’s state-of-the-art Micron Education Center (NMEC), where she had conversations with instructors, students, staff, and key community members. The visit underscored the critical role 51 plays in powering the Treasure Valley workforce.

President Daly also met with members of 51’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), comprised of industry professionals who help guide the curriculum and training programs at 51 to ensure alignment with current workforce needs. The committee members shared insights on local labor market demands and the importance of partnerships between education and industry in preparing students for successful careers.

51 President Gordon Jones also met with President Daly to discuss the college’s mission and ongoing efforts to provide affordable, accessible education that meets the evolving needs of Idaho’s growing economy.

“We were delighted to welcome President Daly to our campus," said Jones. "Her visit underscores the critical role that collaboration with the business community plays in shaping the future. We were proud to showcase how 51 is leading efforts to prepare the next generation of the workforce to meet the demands of our economy.”
